Are you passionate about eliminating the stigma surrounding substance use and driving meaningful change in how people in Canada experience care for their Substance Use Health? CAPSA is seeking committed and dynamic individuals to join our governance board of directors. Whether you are an ally or someone with lived or living experience with substance use disorder, we want to connect with you.

About CAPSA

CAPSA is at the forefront of transforming Substance Use Health in Canada, partnering with organizations and communities, to make a real, lasting difference in systems of care. Our team of dedicated professionals—educators, researchers, policy experts, and individuals with lived experience—are united by one mission: to eliminate systemic stigma and create inclusive, compassionate, and effective supports for all individuals. Through evidence-based solutions, we’re ensuring equitable access to knowledge and services, while breaking down barriers that prevent people from accessing the care they need to live healthy, fulfilling lives.

About the Position: Board of Directors

We are currently seeking passionate, visionary individuals to join our Board of Directors and contribute to shaping the future of CAPSA. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals affected by substance use, we would love to hear from you.

Though we’ve made progress, we recognize that this is an ongoing journey.
