About Position:

CAPSA is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Part-Time Project Assistant/Research
Assistant to join our team and support our mission.

Job Responsibilities:

Event Coordination and Planning:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating major CAPSA events, including conferences,
    workshops, and seminars.
  • Coordinate logistics, such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment,
    and participant registration.
  • Assist in developing event agendas and materials.
  • Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth operations.

Research Assistance:

  • Collaborate with CAPSA’s research team to conduct literature reviews and gather
  • relevant research materials.
  • Assist in data collection and analysis, using diverse platforms to pull data.
  • Compile research findings into clear and concise reports.
  • Maintain organized research databases and documentation.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings, managing email correspondence, and preparing documents and presentations.
  • Assist in grant proposal development and reporting.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with CAPSA team members, fostering a collaborative and
    supportive work environment.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and solutions to improve
    processes.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Professionalism, with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Capacity to complete tasks quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team context.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of diverse platforms for data retrieval
    and analysis.
