Glenn Brimacombe

Mr. Brimacombe is the Director, Policy and Public Affairs at the Canadian Psychological Association. Previously, he was chief executive officer of the Canadian Psychiatric Association (CPA) and the Association of Canadian Academic Healthcare Organizations (ACAHO), and Vice-president, Strategic Partnerships and Priorities at the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA).

With over 30 years’ experience in the health sector, Mr. Brimacombe has focused on a range of strategic policy issues related to the organization, management, financing and delivery of health care, in addition to the federal role in research, innovation and commercialization. In different capacities, he has also identified, developed, and nurtured a number of strategic alliances and partnerships.

Mr. Brimacombe has an Honour’s and Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Ottawa. In his spare time, Glenn enjoys time with his family, keeping active through sport and playing music in a local band.
