Is there a fee to attend the WOW Festival?

The WOW Festival is free and open to the public.

If you wish to host a booth at the WOW Festival, there is a cost associated with the table space as a Community Partner.

Where will the WOW Festival be held this year?

The WOW Festival event will be held outdoors at Marion Dewar Plaza in front of Ottawa City Hall on Friday, September 15, 2023.

 

What if it rains on the day of the WOW Festival?

The WOW Festival Main Stage and Community Partners booths are covered by large tents providing protection from the elements for exhibitors.

 

How can I help at the WOW Festival?

You can register to volunteer at the WOW Festival and help us facilitate this event for the #WorkingonWellness Community. Volunteers opportunities include: greeting and assisting Community Partners, directing and helping attendees, event set up and tear down among other things.

 

Where can I park?

There is underground parking available at Ottawa City Hall for a fee. Other parking spots may be found around the area and are subject to change depending on the event season.

 

Who will be at the WOW Festival?

The stage will be having videos playing, speakers, music performances, comedy performances, and more. Simultaneously, the WOW Festival booths by Community Partners will be open for folks to come in and join the conversation as we work on increasing the wellness for people in Canada.

 

What can I expect at the WOW Festival?

Those attending the WOW Festival on September 15th can expect to find a sense of community, celebration, and hope. This year’s event promises lots of fun and entertainment – in addition to over 80 community partners joining with information about their services. The WOW Festival provides an opportunity for Substance Use Health, Mental Health and Physical Health services and organizations to come together for this in-person (simulcast online) event to help end stigma.

 

When can I arrive to set up my booth as a Community Partner?

The set up time for Community Partners is from 9:00 a.m. through 10:45 a.m.

The WOW Festival starts at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.

 

Can I sell/buy merchandise as a Community Partner?

Community Partners may bring merchandise to give away for free to WOW Festival attendees.

Community Partners are not allowed to fundraise nor collect donations at the WOW Festival.

Merchandise, pamphlets, infographics, and/or a slideshow can be brought to your registered booth.

 

What if I want to be a WOW Festival sponsor?
