Join this innovative and evidence-based 2-hour training that will strengthen your ability to practice compassion when caring for others. Uncover false beliefs that contribute to cycles of frustration and fatigue. Learning Outcomes
By the end of this training, you will:
Understand practices of compassion:
In this 2-hour training, participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of how people with lived and living experience have learned to practice compassion while staying healthy. They will learn to model health through this unique look at the practices of care, empathy, and compassion.
Develop enhanced awareness:
Through evidence-based information, participants will develop an awareness to help identify false beliefs and the factors at play when caring results in burnout, frustration and fatigue.
Discover the cycle of frustration and fatigue:
Participants will explore their health as it relates to the cycle of frustration and fatigue. They will learn to identify the signs and signals of being stuck in this cycle and explore the beliefs, thoughts and actions that contribute to it.
Gain the knowledge to identify healthy practices of compassion:
Attendees will acquire the skills to uncover beliefs that signal a healthy practice of compassion and how it relates to their health as providers of care.
Build a healthy roadway to compassionate care:
Attendees will be equipped with tools and a Training Companion resource to continue building a healthy roadway to compassionate care, making a positive impact in within their practice and overall wellness.
